Odelle Garnette called ‘Crab’ appeared on Friday before Magistrate Judy Latchman at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court where he was charged with the attempted murder of six-year-old Smith’s Memorial Primary School pupil, Jeremiah Gustave, on July 9 at Charles Street, Charlestown.
He was remanded to prison by the Magistrate and the case was adjourned until August 22.
On July 18, police issued a wanted bulletin for Garnette in connection with the shooting of the six-year-old. Garnette’s last known address is East Ruimveldt, Georgetown and it is alleged that he was the intended target of the shooter but escaped.
On July 29, the first suspect, the shooter, 29-year-old Marlon Christopher Wilburg called ‘Miceman’, appeared before the same Magistrate where he was charged with the attempted murder of the minor. Wilburg was remanded to prison until August 19.
