Panthers were crowned the Plaisance Inter-Block 7-Aside Football Champion, defeating Strike Force by a 1-0 score-line on Friday evening in the final at the Community Centre ground.
The wily Damion Turnell recorded the only conversion of the contest to secure the victory. With the win, the Panthers pocketed the championship trophy and $150,000. On the other hand, Strike Force walked away with the second-place accolade and $80,000.
