Police have arrested four persons and seized three Glock pistols as they investigate an alleged shooting incident on Samora Haddaway, a 41-year-old driver from Timehri, which occurred at about 11 pm on August 06th, 2024, at Garnett and Middleton streets, Georgetown.
Those arrested were Stephan Ramdass, a 39-year-old from Great Diamond, EBD; Patrick Forbes, a 30-year-old from Wales Housing Scheme, WBD; Raji Chanderpaul, a 41-year-old from Better Hope, ECD; and Mahesh Budho, from Cummings Lodge, ECD.
The police said in a statement that investigations reveal that the victim had stopped the lorry (#GAG 1844) on the eastern side of Middleton Street, facing west on Garnett Street, waiting to transport a container that was on Middleton and Garnett streets.
