Three held on Corentyne with carcasses of stolen bulls

Three men were arrested on Wednesday in Corentyne, Berbice, as part of Police investigations into the theft of two bulls valued at $240,000 belonging to Ganisey Parsram, a 63-year-old from #64 Village.

The three men arrested are Noel Gray, a 26-year-old labourer; Shermond Thompson, a 44-year-old labourer; and Oudwin Binda, a 47-year-old labourer — all of Corentyne, Berbice, a release from the police said yesterday.

Chavand Parsram, a 37-year-old cattle farmer and son of the victim, told investigators that his father  has been the registered owner of Brand #OG98 for approximately twenty years and used it to brand all of his cattle, including the two stolen bulls.
