The 16th edition of the Guyana Cup will take centre stage today at Rising Sun Turf Club in West Coast Berbice and is arguably the most anticipated iteration in its history.
The Jumbo Jet Thoroughbred Racing Committee-organised event will see the country’s top horses and newly imported horses from various countries battle for over GYD $40M in cash and prizes.
The defending champion in the feature race is Easy Time. This time around, Easy Time drew outside gate 12 and is the favourite to retain his title. The feature event will have 12 horses and provide strong competition, which makes for a mouthwatering contest.
