Ansa McAL Distribution Inc last week held its annual ‘Chief Cook-up’ competition, which saw over 15 participants battling for the ‘Chief Cook-up Champion 2024’ title.
The competition was held on Emancipation Day, observed annually on August 1st and kicked off at 12:00 pm as cooks began to prep their fireside in the scorching heat of the day. “After three intense hours, the judges began their walk-through, sampling every delectable cook-up dish. At the end of the battle, three winners emerged from each category,” the company said on its Facebook page.
