Potaro Strikers maintained their perfect record in the Bartica Football Association Senior Men’s League, dismantling Agatash by a 4-1 score on Wednesday evening at the Community Centre ground.
Reon Hall commenced the rout with a 12th-minute conversion. He was followed by Daniel Gardner, who made his presence felt three minutes later to double their advantage. Agatash eventually reduced the deficit in the 30th minute via Tyrese Collison. The score remained unchanged heading into the halftime interval.
Following the resumption, Kevin Reddy etched his name on the scorer-sheet in the 51st minute to restore his side’s two-goal advantage. The result was then sealed in the 67th minute, as Gardner netted to complete his double.
The event resumes today at the same venue with another doubleheader. In the opening match at 18:00hrs, AK Galaxy will lock horns with Rising Stars, while the feature contest will pit Mil Ballers against defending champion Beacons at 20:30hrs.
