A 45-year-old Mibicuri resident was arrested by the police on Thursday after he was found with three blowers suspected to have been stolen.
According to a police press release, the police were conducting ‘Eye in the Sky’ and cordon and search operations in the Johanna North and Mibicuri South areas in Black Bush Polder, Berbice.
The blowers have been lodged at the Mibicuri Police Station and efforts are being made to have them properly identified, the release said.
Also, during the operation, two suspects from Black Bush Polder were arrested for alleged simple larceny and are in custody at Whim Police Station, the release added.
