Road users are advised of a temporary traffic disruption along the Rupert Craig Highway to facilitate emergency repair of the Triumph Bridge (southern lane).
The Ministry of Public Works has stated that the repairs are being undertaken by China Railway First Group (Guyana) Inc. The work, which starts at 10 o’clock tonight, is expected to be completed in five days.
The ministry noted that there will be directional signs to guide all road users in this area and the road closure will be at the Triumph-Mon Repos Bridge intersection.
