The second miner’s body was recovered late Friday after a mining pit at St Elizabeth Backdam, Potaro, Region Eight collapsed, killing two miners.
One of the bodies was recovered earlier on Friday, and according to a report yesterday, the second body was also recovered the same day. Both bodies of the two miners, Sherwayne Joseph and Imran Blake were retrieved and examined by police where bruises was seen on the exposed parts of their bodies.
