Guyana remain winless in the Caribbean Football Union (CFU) Boy’s U-14 Challenge Series as they lost 2-6 to Barbados yesterday at the Larry Gomes stadium in Trinidad and Tobago.
It was the second consecutive loss for the Guyanese following their 1-2 tournament opening defeat to Antigua and Barbuda. Entering the halftime interval trailing 2-3, the Guyanese conceded three goals in the second period.
Guyana will resume their campaign against the St. Vincent and the Grenadines before concluding their group stage section against the Cayman Islands in their final group fixture on the 23rd at 11:00am.
The respective group winners will advance to the elimination round.
