Guyana thrashed the Leeward Islands by 10 wickets in round two of the Cricket West Indies (CWI) U-17 2-Day Championship yesterday at the National Cricket Centre in Couva, Trinidad and Tobago.
Resuming on 97/2 in pursuit of the Leeward Islands first innings total of 144, the Guyanese were eventually dismissed for 176, which was a lead of 32 runs.
In the second innings, the Leeward Islands were skittled for 127 in 46.4 overs. Golcharran Chulai, who snared 4-34 in the first innings, returned to torment the Leeward Islands batting lineup as he recorded 6-28 to end on 10-62.
