Guyana ended their group stage campaign on a positive note in the Caribbean Football Union’s (CFU) Boy’s U-14 Challenge Series as they thrashed the Cayman Islands yesterday at the Larry Gomes stadium in Trinidad and Tobago.
It was the first win for the Guyanese in the tournament, as they prevailed 4-0 following a record of two losses and a draw.
Guyana recorded two goals in the first half before registering the exact number in the second stanza. Guyana went down to Antigua and Barbuda [1-2] and Barbados [2-6], before drawing with Saint Vincent and the Grenadines [1-1].
