Potaro Strikers climbed atop the standings in the Bartica Football Association Senior Men’s League, caging Wolves 3-0 to record their third consecutive on Monday night at the Community Centre ground.
All three conversions were in the second stanza. Reon Hall commenced the rout as he made his presence felt with a 49th minute effort. Daniel Gardner then got into the scoring act as he blasted past the opposing custodian in the 63rd minute.
The final conversion would transpire three minutes later in the form of a Kareem Clarke effort. With the result, Potaro climb atop the standings on nine points owing to their superior goal differential, while Wolves remain in seventh place on a point.
