Two truck drivers who were caught on video attempting to run each other off the road at the junction of Clive Lloyd Drive and Sheriff Street are slated to appear in court today on the charge of dangerous driving.
In the video that was widely circulated on social media a red Canter, GAC 1877 and a white hauler truck, GAB 849 were being driven dangerously; as one attempted to overtake the other it was blocked. The two trucks moved from one side of the road to the next and the video ended with the red Canter being forced off the road.
The police said in a release yesterday both drivers, identified as 30-year-old Jason Andres Dennis and 33-year-old Clive Richmond, were tracked down and arrested. They were shown the video and they both admitted to being the drivers of the two vehicles on the day of the incident.
According to the release the two vehicles are currently parked at a police station compound, and both drivers remain in custody.
