Rising Stars overcame a two-goal first-half deficit to draw 2-2 with Rivers View in a top-of-the-table clash amongst the unbeaten teams when the Bartica Football Association Senior Men’s League continued on Wednesday evening at the Community Centre ground.
Rivers View seized the early advantage as Nicholas Collison broke the deadlock in the 20th minute. Their advantage was then doubled in the form of Andel Norton, who scored in the 41st minute. However, the Rising Stars unit would earn a share of the spoils as they recorded two goals in the space of seven minutes.
Luis Muller reduced the deficit as he found the back of the net in the 70th minute. Parity was then restored to proceedings as Joshua Jones etched his name on the score-sheet in the 77th minute.
Meanwhile, AK Galaxy downed Mil Ballers 2-1. Morris Richards and Ralfton Henry scored one goal each. For the loser, Michael McLean netted.
