Demerara Distillers Limited (DDL) announced the launch of its El Dorado Master Blender 2024 Special Edition Rum at a special event held on Monday at the Guyana Mariott Hotel, Kingston, Georgetown, to celebrate its 12th year as the official spirit of the Caribbean Premium League (CPL).
According to a DDL release, this rum has been aged for 12 years, in recognition of the company’s “enduring” partnership with CPL, and is a unique blend of carefully selected marques from the historic Port Mourant double wooden pot still, the Versailles single wooden pot still, the Uitvlugt French Savalle still, and the Diamond Coffey still.

DDL’s Chairman Komal Samaroo in his remarks at the launch, spoke of being thrilled to unveil this special edition spirit in celebration of the company’s milestone relationship with CPL.“As we mark our 12th year as the official spirit of the CPLT20, we are thrilled to unveil the El Dorado Master Blender Special Edition Rum.
