The School of the Nations has announced the results achieved by its students at the recent Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE), Advanced Subsidiary (AS) and A-Level examinations.
A release from the school highlighted students deserving of recognition for their academic achievements. For the IGCSE exams, those students are: Shayla Castellanos Martinez with 4 distinctions and 2 As; Kesenia Abramova with 3 distinctions and 2 As; Isabella Persaud with 5 As and 2 Cs; Hemesh Bhigroog with 3 As, 3 Bs, and 3 Cs; Emily Choo-A-Fat, 1 distinction, 3 As, and 3 Bs; Kejin Wan, 1 distinction, 1 A, and 3 Bs.
At the AS Level, one student, Manav Kumar, secured 2 As.
The A-Level students are: Saskia Twahir with 2 As and 1 B; Kia Prosper, 2 As and 1 B; Jaden Coonjah, 2 As and 1 B; Akilah Browne: 2 Bs and 1 C; Amelia Balram: 2 Bs; and Maiya Francios-Ifill: 2 Bs.
According to the release, “These accomplishments are a testament to the students’ hard work, the support of their families, and the dedication of our faculty. We are proud to recognize the students for their outstanding academic achievements.”
It also noted that at the School of the Nations, students sit for a maximum of three A-Levels and sometimes four, as most colleges require only three A-Levels.
The School of the Nations extended congratulations to all its students who sat the Cambridge examinations while reminding that the institution is committed to providing a holistic education that prepares students to meet the challenges of a rapidly changing world.
