CAREBACO Junior Badminton Championship
Guyana once again registered numerous losses on day two of the Caribbean Regional Badminton Confederation (CAREBACO) Junior Championship in Oranjestad, Aruba.
The duo Ethan Bulkan and Mishka Beharry secured wins in the individual segment, as several teammates were eliminated in their respective divisions.
Bulkan defeated Logan Waithe of T&T 21-18, 22-20 in the Boy’s U-13 quarterfinal round, while Beharry overcame Isabelle Waller of T&T 21-18, 9-21, 21-10 in their Girl’s U-17 quarterfinal match.
Meanwhile, the pair of Frank Waddell/Beharry defeated Daniel Forde (Jamaica)/Kaila Walcott (Barbados) 21-17, 21-10 in the round of 16 section in the U-19 Mixed Doubles.
