Dear Editor,
In my years of service in the education sector in Guyana (1968-2019) I have been blessed by the presence of so many accepting and understanding me with encouraging words and guidance. The late Ms. Genevieve Whyte Nedd in her role as Chief Education Officer (Ag) was one such in my life. Let me describe her as approachable, kind, most helpful and motherly in office with humility. I am sad to hear that she has passed on. So sorry! I convey my sympathy to all who mourn her demise in the name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
