Buxton Stars downed Beterverwagting (BV)/Triumph 4-2 when the East Demerara Football League resumed on Friday night at the Buxton Community Centre ground.
Nikini Daniels, Joel Marks, Jamal Green, and Shawn Campbell scored in the ninth, 14th, 32nd, and 39th minutes, respectively.
On target in the loss were Royden Chapman and Akin Curry.
Meanwhile, Mahaicony edged Melanie 1-0. Leroy Halley scored in the 32nd minute.
