Trucks urged not to use deteriorating Lusignan Prison Road

The Central Housing and Planning Authority (CHPA) is urging trucks and other heavy-duty vehicles operating in the new Lusignan housing scheme not to use the Lusignan Prison Road.

In a statement yesterday, the CHPA said that they are to use the Annandale Plantation main road which is immediately east of the  Prison Road. From that road, they’ll access the new scheme, by using the road at the back of the prison’s south fence.

This arrangement is a result of the deteriorating state of the Prison Road, the CHPA said.
