I am an avid reader (and writer for) your letters columns. Might I offer a few Bill words of wisdom for new readers? Start at the bottom. See who has written the epistle – often a ‘usual suspect’ – and go from there. If they are prolix, and many are, just read the last two paras; they get to the point by then. Some are stuck records. GHK Lall is a word salad specialist (and very articulate too) but has only two not so hidden messages ‘I hate the PPP and I especially hate Bharrat Jagdeo’ and continue for 500 words! Time for some cast changes and harder sub editing to freshen up the nation’s town square dialogue.
