‘Bend it Like Beckham’ Futsal
Traditional giants Sparta Boss, Bent Street, Back Circle, and North East La Penitence advanced to the semifinal round following contrasting wins in the quarterfinal segment when the inaugural edition of the ‘Bend it Like Beckham’ Futsal Championship continued at the National Gymnasium on Mandela Avenue.
Sparta Boss downed Bent Street B by a 3-0 score. The trio of Jermin Junior, Solomon Austin, and Darron Niles scored in the third, eighth, and 30th minutes, respectively.
