Six new land surveyors sworn in

President Irfaan Ali administered the oath of office to six new land surveyors during a swearing-in ceremony on Wednesday at the Office of the President.

During brief remarks,  Ali told the new surveyors that their roles will be integral to the development taking place across the country.

“We are witnessing development at an unprecedented scale and pace. New and massive infrastructure projects are being undertaken. New areas are being developed. Land titling is expanding.”

Moreover, the President encouraged the surveyors to continue pursuing higher education and announced that the Government is in the process of crafting specialised educational programmes to advance their skill set.

The new land surveyors are Navindra Looknauth, Joel Trotman, Ramnaresh Persaud, Tamesh Persaud, Kemo Cornelius and Kishan Crichlow.
