Assistant Commissioner Simon Mc Bean yesterday spoke to the Impact Base ranks of Regional Division #4A at the Guyana Fire Service Head-quarters, Georgetown, as the country prepares for the forthcoming CPL T20 cricket tournament, a release from the police said.
Mc Bean, who is the Commander for Regional Division 4A, congratulated all the frontline ranks for their continuous effort in ensuring safety and security in our country. He emphasised the need for increased police visibility and patrols at hot spots, markets and the parks.
The release said that he also underlined the need for “professionalism and decorum” in their line of work and warned that indiscipline would not be tolerated.
The release said that McBean offered the ranks a chance to voice their concerns which were all resolved.
