Young and upcoming youth goalkeepers in Guyana are now set to benefit tremendously in the future after Eon De Veira, a longstanding goalkeeper coach, equipped himself with the key skills needed to nurture those upcoming goalkeepers.
De Veira recently completed the FIFA Elite Youth Goalkeeper Coaches Workshop in Tobago, which ran from August 21 to 25. That workshop was designed to boost the skills of youth goalkeeper coaches from across the region, and De Veira was among a select group of coaches who were on hand to learn new techniques in coaching young goalkeepers.
