The Strikers Summer Special All Female Dominoes Tourney is set to slam off today at Strikers Sports Club in Meadow Brook Gardens from 3pm.

The all-female concept is unprecedented and six teams have already registered with more expected to show up today.

While the entrance fee per team is $12,000, the winners will see a remarkable mark up as they will walk away with $250,000, a trophy and medals for the team.

On the other hand, the first runners up will receive $125,000, trophy and medals with third place pocketing $75,000 to go with a trophy and medals.

As a bonus, the team that finishes fourth place will receive $40,000 and a trophy. On the individual side of the tourney, again as an incentive, two hampers will be up for grabs with the top players of the winning teams in contention.

Meanwhile, in a simple presentation held at Strikers Sports Club, Head of Business Development at VSH Guyana Inc. handed over the 2nd place prize (inclusive of medals and trophy) to Lovern Spencer, the vice-captain of one of the participating teams.
