On 27th August, 2024 Carl Methuram, 43, a former member of the Guyana Police Force and presently employed at Sublime Security allegedly assaulted his wife and threatened to kill her and burn the house down.
A release from the police said that he was charged on 2024/08/28 with the offence of unlawful wounding of his wife at their home at Eccles, East Bank Demerara.
He appeared before Principal Magis-trate Dylon Bess at the Diamond/Golden Grove Magistrate’s Court #3. He was granted bail in the sum of $100,000 and the case was adjourned to 27th September 2024.
