CI, West Meten-Meer-Zorg, Rising Stars record wins

Cornelia Ida (CI) defeated Windsor Forest Vipers by five wickets. Batting first, the Vipers recorded 80 in 17 overs during the reduced encounter. Muhammad Wazidali top scored with 33 [2x6s, 4x4s]. Aryan Persaud was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 3-10.

In response, CI stormed to 81/5 in 11.4 overs. Alib Mullin, Shaaid Vieira, and Thaddeus Lovell scored 21, 17, and 16 runs, respectively.

West Meten-Meer-Zorg defeated Meten-Meer-Zorg Defenders by 127 runs. Batting first, West Meten-Meer-Zorg posted a mammoth 205 in a reduced 15-over contest. Sheldon Alexander led the assault with a belligerent 112, while Jermaine Maxwell and Adrian Johnson scored 46 and 21 runs, respectively.

In reply, the Defenders were bundled out for 78. Mark Braithwaite and Fawaz Baksh scored 24 and 18, respectively. Udesh Seetaram led the bowling effort for the victor with 4-5, while Maxwell chipped in with 2-24.

Meanwhile, the Rising Stars defeated Zeelugt by six wickets. Zeelugt posted 100/6 in their reduced 10 over innings, with Tameshwar Dass scoring 44. In response, Rising Stars ended 104/4. Nickosi Major, who had snared 2-25 with the ball, ended unbeaten on 51 for the victor.

Also, Sawpit defeated Cold Fusion Zeelugt by three wickets. Cold Fusion Zeelugt posted 132 in 16.5 overs, batting first. Mark Gonsalves scored 50. In reply, Sawpit ended on 133/7 in 16.3 overs. Mahendra Jailall and Rodman DaSilva scored 55 and 52 runs, respectively.

Likewise, the McGill Superstars defeated the West Coast Warriors by three wickets. Batting first, the Warriors ended on 104/8, with Ronaldo Stouten top scoring with 32. Sudesh Persaud snared 3-11 with the ball, while Navindra Persaud supported with 3-27. In response, McGill Superstars ended on 107/7 in 19.1 overs. Judell McAllister scored an unbeaten 50.

Similarly, All Youths defeated Goed Fortuin by five wickets. Batting first, Goed Fortuin posted 126 all out in their allotment. Aran Sewpersaud top scored with 34. Tamesh Persaud was the primary threat with the ball with figures of 4-12. All Youths in response ended on 127/5. Kevin Seenan and Saieed Persaud led the way with 27 runs apiece.
