Police Commissioner’s T20 Cup
Opener Pernell London (R/C) continued to impress with the bat as he struck a fine 99 to lead Headquarters to a 33-run win over Officers in the Guyana Police Force Commissioner’s T20 Championship yesterday.
London knock was the cornerstone of the Headquarters innings as they posted a challenging 181-4, batting first at Eve Leary. London added 102 with fellow opener Corporal Troy Leitch, who retired hurt for 12, and another useful partnership of 69 with L/CPL Kanhaiya Ramkaran.
London hit six fours and eight sixes off 52 balls before he was removed by ASP Stephen Harris, while Ramkaran was dismissed by ASP Troy Benn for 29. Corporal Kyle Michael made 22. Harris took 2-22.
