Triple-header slated for this weekend in GCA/Friends of Cricket 2nd Division 2-day

Action in the Georgetown Cricket Association (GCA)/ Friends of Cricket  2nd Division 2-day competition continues full steam ahead with three matches slated for this weekend at grounds around the city.

Beginning from today, the Malteenoes Sports Club (MSC) will play host to Thomas Lands neighbour Guyana Defence Force (GDF) from 11 am. The hosts will be looking to rebound from a draw last week against Ace Warriors where they conceded first innings points.

Meanwhile, Transport, next door to MSC will face GNIC at home, beginning from the same time.

The Georgetown Cricket Club (GCC) will taste their first action since the restart of the season and will clash with the Diplomats at their home ground, Bourda, with the first ball scheduled for 11 am as well.

Last weekend, the Ace Warriors and Malteenoes played to an entertaining draw where the outstanding players were Murtland Ward and Nkosi Whytes, both of Ace Warriors.
