A prisoner, Isiah Daniels, also known as Isiah Greaves, who escaped on Friday morning while attending clinic at the Georgetown Public Hospital has been recaptured in Sophia, Georgetown.
According to a Guyana Prison Service release, Daniels of 485 ‘A’ Field, Sophia, was recaptured in Sophia on Friday at around 23.30 hours by a Joint Services task force.
The Prison Service expressed its appreciation to members of the public and to the Joint Services for its swift response in recapturing the prison escapee.
