On Friday, 42 aspiring homeowners moved closer to realising their dreams with the distribution of Steel and Cement Housing Subsidy vouchers, each valued at approximately $225,000, a release from the CH&PA said.
These vouchers were issued during the agency’s ‘Dream Realised’ Housing Drive at the Regional Housing Office in Pouderoyen, West Bank Demerara. Housing Minister, Collin Croal and Central Housing and Planning Authority (CH&PA) CEO, Sherwyn Greaves presented the vouchers.
Homeowners with properties valued at $6 million or less receive steel and one sling of cement for their foundation, while those with properties valued between $6 million and $25 million benefit from two slings of cement.
