GCA 2nd Division 2-Day
Action in the Georgetown Cricket Association (GCA)/Friends of Cricket 2nd Division 2-Day competition resumed yesterday at the Transport Sports Ground, Thomas Lands, with home team Transport hosting GNIC.
After stumps on day one, the game was hanging in the balance with GNIC batting first and compiling a competitive first innings total of 219 while Transport in reply had reached 123/2 at the end of the opening day, still some 96 runs adrift of GNIC’s total, but importantly with 8 wickets in hand.
