The Guyana Tourism Authority (GTA) recently held a Naturalist Tour Guide training session at Rockstone Village, Region Ten.
According to a post on its Facebook page the training session was led by licensed tour guide Kenneth Butler.
It was stated that participants were guided through areas that covered the core competencies of tour guiding, such as technical competency, wilderness medicine and first aid, customer service and group management skills, and natural and cultural history interpretation.
