Siblings Kimora and Niomi Erskine sealed their place in the Girl’s Doubles final, while Anastasia Semple and Gerald Scotland advanced to the respective divisional finals when the Smalta/Rebel Junior Tennis Championship continued at the GBTI court in Diamond, East Bank Demerara. In the Girl’s Doubles division, Kimora and Niomi defeated the team of J. Grannum/M. Goodman 6/3, 6/0 in the semifinal segment. In the Boy’s U-18 semifinal, Scotland defeated Navindra Arjune 6/3, 6/4. In the Girl’s Novices division, Rania Prince bested Zenadya Lupuku 6/3. In the Girl’s Novices division, Semple defeated Makaila Pierre 6/0 in the semifinal round.
Meanwhile, in the Boy’s Novices section, Aishi Harnauth blanked Ryan Persaud 6/0 in the quarterfinal round.
