Yesterday, the Attorney General’s Chambers & Ministry of Legal Affairs and the Deeds & Commercial Registries Authority (DCRA) began a three-day Public Outreach in Region Nine (Upper Takutu-Upper Essequibo) beginning at Lethem and continuing at several outlying communities.
A Deeds & Commercial Registries Authority Office was also launched yesterday morning in the Region. This Office will be located within the compound of the Regional Administration Office at Lethem and will provide a number of crucial services to the Lethem Township as well as the Region.
The establishment of this Office in Region Nine is part of a decision of President Irfaan Ali to establish a DCRA Office in every Region across the country.
