Policy Forum Guyana (PFG) has launched an environmental education game, Eco-Uno, as a key component of PFG’s Embracing a 1.5°C Lifestyle Campaign, aimed at promoting sustainable living practices across Guyana.
PFG is a non-governmental organisation established in 2015. Its mandate is to focus primarily on accountability and transparency issues related to natural resources, climate change, and extractive industries whilst promoting environmental education through the 1.5° lifestyle.
This was announced on Friday in a release from PFG, which also informed that the launch took place at the Amerindian Peoples Association (APA) Ina Maimu Yetatokon conference held at the Guyana Marriott Hotel in Kingston, Georgetown, and received enthusiastic reactions from Indigenous leaders, students, teachers, youth groups, and diplomats.
