Todd signs trade facilitation, green development memoranda with China’s Vice Minister of Commerce

Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Hugh Todd on Friday signed memoranda of understanding on trade facilitation and green development with China’s Vice Minister  of Commerce and International Trade Representative, Wang Shouwen.

A release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the fruitful discussions between the two sides concluded with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on Deepening Bilateral Cooperation and Trade Facilitation and a Memorandum of Understanding on Promoting Investment Cooperation in Green and Low Carbon Development between the Governments of Guyana and China.

The two memoranda will provide the necessary impetus for the improvement of trade and investment relations between Guyana and China, the release said.
