The family of 60-year-old Adree Slowe is demanding justice following his tragic death in a road accident on Friday. Slowe was en route to a relative’s wake when he was fatally struck by a minibus, BAC 4129.
Keisha Gentle, a family member, expressed frustration over the lack of communication from the police. She said that despite visiting the Vigilance Police Station for updates, officers failed to inform the family that the minibus involved in the accident had been recovered.
“We were told that the bus was found parked in the police compound with the keys inside, but the driver was not present,” Gentle stated, questioning the actions taken by the police. “They did not call us to tell us anything. It was until we visited the station and saw the bus there.”
