The Bartica Football Association (BFA), in conjunction with the Department of Education, has commenced its Primary School Boy’s League Championship.
This was disclosed by a press statement from the Guyana Football Federation. According to the correspondence, the event features 11 teams from the Bartica and Lower Mazaruni areas. Among the competing schools are Batavia, St. John-the-Baptist, St. Anthony’s, Potaro, Two Miles, Agatash, Karrau Creek, Iteballi, and Kartabo. Mark Ambrose, Sports Organiser with the Department of Education, said, “We aim to instill a passion for football at the primary school level and encourage consistent gameplay to aid in the future development of young players.”
