Guyana should find a way to use the unique expertise of Sir Dexter Hutt

Dear Editor,

I was intrigued and interested in the piece on September 8th about the return of distinguished British educationalist Sir Dexter Hutt to the land of his birth last month. He was born and brought up in Mackenzie. His UK knighthood comes from services to education as the head of five schools in Birmingham. I was wondering why your reporter did not report his views on education in Guyana. Is it too late for a follow up piece and should Guyana not find a way to use the unique expertise of this son of the soil. One lives in hope.

Sincerely,

John ‘Bill Cotton/Reform’ Mair
