Ashton Chang, Wyatt Fraser, and Josiah Clinken were among the standout performers when the Association do Shotokan Karate of Guyana staged its grading examinations on Sunday at the YMCA Dojo, Thomas Lands.
This was confirmed by a release from the entity. According to the correspondence, Chang, Fraser, and Clinken were among a group that also included Sachin Mulchand and Christopher Cooblall that advanced from second Kyu to brown belt first Kyu.
Meanwhile, the trio of Kayden Savory, Julia Badal, and Jad Narine advanced to brown belt first Kyu from third Kyu. Also, the quartet of Veerendra Krishna, Shawn Ranjit, and Rachael Seymour elevated from fourth Kyu to brown belt third Kyu.
A total of 38 individuals participated in the event, which was supervised by Shihan 8th Dan Amir Khouri, Sensei 5th Dan Parmeshwar Persaud, and 3rd Dan Leonard Leuwaisee. The National Championship is pencilled for September 29th. Below is the complete list of results.
