The Petra Organisation, the coordinators of the Pee Wee Boy’s U-11 Football Championship, conducted a team briefing and ball distribution exercise yesterday for the competing teams at the National Library ahead of the event’s kickoff on Saturday at the Ministry of Education ground, Carifesta Avenue.
Each school in attendance received a ball to aid in their preparation for the tournament.
Troy Mendonca, Co-Director of the Petra Organisation, praised the teachers and coaches for their unwavering support and commitment to the tournament, noting that the continued growth of the event might necessitate the staging of zonal qualifiers in the future given the overwhelming response from the schools to participate.
