Bhudram Loelere, a 23-year-old carpenter of Patrick Dam, Angoy’s Avenue in New Amsterdam, Berbice, is now in Police custody following his arrest and the discovery of a quantity of suspected cannabis by Police ranks who were on Marine Patrol in the Berbice River earlier this week.
The suspected cannabis, which was found in two bags containing four bulky parcels wrapped with transparent plastic, amounted to 5,772 grams when weighed.
The 23-year-old is slated to be charged.
