Radio host busted with over $4.3m in marijuana, pleads guilty

A radio host was yesterday morning busted with over $4.3m worth in marijuana during a road stop at Weldaad, West Coast Berbice and was remanded to prison after she opted to plead guilty to the offence. 

Shaima Muna, 27, a radio host and singer of Charlestown, Georgetown, was charged with possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking.  She was found with  14.5 kgs of cannabis.

Muna yesterday appeared at the Weldaad Magistrate’s Court where the charge was read to her and she pleaded guilty.
