In a notice yesterday the National Drainage and Irrigation Authority has summoned the Chief Executive Officer and Representative for a Berbice contracting company.
The public notice which was carried in the PPP-aligned Mirror newspaper stated that David Jubual Madanlall, Chief Executive Officer, Civcon Engineering Con-tractors, of Lot 104 Number Two Village, East Canje Berbice and Mark Gupta, Representative, Civcon Engineering Contractors of Lot 212 Number Two Village, East Canje Berbice, are to make “urgent contact” with the Chief Executive Officer of the National Drainage and Irrigation Authority on telephone numbers 2255005/2266655.
It is unclear as to why the entity which falls under the purview of the Ministry of Agriculture is publicly summoning the Berbice company.
