As part of the Ministry of Education’s commitment to inclusivity across the education sector and in support of government’s efforts to empowering persons with disabilities, six visually impaired trainee teachers at the Cyril Potter College of Education (CPCE) have been presented with laptops to assist in their academic journey.

According to a Ministry release, on Friday, the Office of the Assistant Chief Education Officer (SEND) facilitated a collaboration between the Guyana Council of Organizations for Persons with Disabilities (GCOPD) and the CPCE’s Student Services Department to support these learners who are enrolled in the Associate Degree in Disability Studies programme.
