Recently, Office of the First Lady Arya Ali hosted an event to observe the first anniversary of its Kingston Seawall Esplanade project.
A post on the official Facebook page explained that the esplanade “is a symbol of our collective effort and pride; it is a space where families gather, friends reconnect, and visitors experience the warmth of our community”.
It was also stated that Guyanese have seen the area transform into a lively venue for events, a peaceful escape, and a thriving space for local vendors.
“It is also a reminder that when we invest in our public spaces like this one, we invest in each other, and that’s what we will continue to do through the National Beautification Project,” the post said.
“I’d like to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who played a role in bringing this project to life. From the engineers and contractors, to the volunteers and local businesses, and even the sponsors that supported us, your hard work and dedication have made the esplanade a true gem of our city,” the First Lady said.
